Open Systems is growing. As the business evolves, maintaining a coherent and captivating user experience for our interfaces is challenging. To keep our user interfaces coherent, we have created pyrene, a collection of components and the underlying design principles and foundations.

Based on React, we have built an extensive pattern library for Open System Mission Control.

My task was to create the foundation for the design system. This included developing our design principles and defining the design foundation as well as the color and shape language of our designs. In a second step, I had to identify existing components to be transferred to the new design system as well as define, specify and design new components to be created.

 The logo design for Pyrene was also created by myself.

It is a very exciting and challenging work that is not yet finished as we continue to add new components to our design system.
